Timothy Sheldon Tim joined the Anam Circle team in May 2022. He received his B.A. in International Relations, Environmental Studies, and Mandarin Chinese from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI. The Americorps VISTA program brought Tim to the Capital Region where he worked on community engagement and outreach at the Albany Barn, a sustainable creative arts incubator and community arts center in Arbor Hill. He continued working in community engagement and capacity building for the Albany Barn and other community-based organizations until stepping back to pursue his M.P.A in Environmental Policy and Politics at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the University at Albany. His research focuses have been on the viability of policy promoting perennial agriculture and the environmental impacts of hydroelectric power.
